# gpt-image-2-vip Size Parameter Restored · 2K / 4K Back

> A Codex-side rule change between Jun 16-18 broke gpt-image-2-vip resolution control. A workaround is now in place: the size parameter works again with 2K and 4K, with the same strict resolution control as before. This model remains a budget alternative to the official-relay gpt-image-2.

🔥 **Good news! `gpt-image-2-vip` has the `size` parameter back, with 2K and 4K supported** —— A Codex-side rule change between Jun 16 and Jun 18 broke resolution control on `gpt-image-2-vip`. A workaround is now in place: the `size` parameter works again and supports 2K and 4K, with the same strict resolution control as before. This model is a budget alternative to the official-relay `gpt-image-2`, and we'll keep supplying it. Calls are welcome again\~
