# Nano Banana Pro/2 now generating in 20-30s · switch to the official model names at your convenience

> gemini-3-pro-image (Nano Banana Pro) and gemini-3.1-flash-image (Nano Banana 2) are now generating images in 20-30 seconds — Google likely added compute, on top of APIYI's stable supply. The old -preview model names are not retired and APIYI has not redirected them; we recommend switching the model name yourself and changing nothing else.

⚡ **Nano Banana Pro/2 now generating in 20-30s · switch to the official model names at your convenience** —— `gemini-3-pro-image` (Nano Banana Pro) and `gemini-3.1-flash-image` (Nano Banana 2) are now completing images in **20-30 seconds** (fastest measured first byte: 20s) — delightfully fast. Google has likely added compute on the official side, and of course **our stable supply is the foundation** — no need to second-guess the speed. Also, the old `-preview` model names (e.g. `gemini-3-pro-image-preview`) are **not retired**, and APIYI has not set up a direct redirect; we recommend switching the model name to the official one yourself and changing nothing else.
