# gpt-image-2-all Image Generation Speed Back to Normal

> gpt-image-2-all generation speed has returned to normal, with most images completing within 60 seconds and first-byte times of 31-58 seconds in our tests. Calls that exceeded 300 seconds during this week's official outage will still get credits reissued over the weekend as planned.

The slow requests caused by this week's ChatGPT website image-generation outage have subsided as official capacity recovered — first-byte times now hold steady at 31-58 seconds in our tests, and no special timeout handling is needed anymore. Calls that took over 300 seconds during the outage will still get credits reissued in one batch over the weekend (expected from Saturday 2026/7/11, UTC+8) as planned.
