# Still Unable to Enroll 2FA During the Grace Period

> If enrolling 2FA or a passkey still asks you to wait during the grace period, sign out, sign in again, wait about one minute, and try again.

🔐 **Still told you can't enroll 2FA or a passkey during the grace period? Sign out, sign in again, wait about one minute, then try again**

The grace period is applied per sign-in session. Some older sessions that were previously flagged for re-verification are not released automatically, so enrollment keeps asking you to wait in that session. Signing in again creates a new session, which is released within about a minute; refresh the account settings page and you can enroll.
