# New FAQ: The Files API Is Not Provided

> New FAQ explaining that APIYI does not provide the Files API, nor the Batch, Assistants, and similar APIs that depend on it; this is why /v1/files returns "no available channels for model". Send images and PDFs directly in the request as base64 or a URL.

📖 **New FAQ: APIYI does not provide the Files API; send files inline**

Calling `/v1/files` returns `Current group … has no available channels for model`, which means the platform does not provide this API; it is unrelated to your group or balance. Assistants, Batch (OpenAI and Claude), and Vector Stores, which depend on file uploads, are not provided either.

Put images and PDFs directly into the chat request as base64 or a URL. The inline styles for the OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini formats have all been tested and work.
