# Gemini 4 Argon Is Live: Google's New Flagship From Day One

> Google's first Gemini 4 flagship, gemini-4-argon, is live in the default and svip groups. Priced at the limited-time promotional rate of $2 / $10 per million tokens, moving to $4 / $20 with Google on December 1. Same accuracy as 3.1 Pro in our tests with about 1/12 of the thinking tokens.

🚀 **Gemini 4 Argon (`gemini-4-argon`) is live in the `default` and `svip` groups**

The first Gemini 4 flagship, announced by Google on 9/30 and opened to the API on 10/13. APIYI has it from day one on both the Gemini native and OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Priced at the limited-time promotional rate of \$2 input / \$10 output per million tokens, moving to \$4 / \$20 with Google on December 1.

Pre-launch tests: 36/36 correct, same as 3.1 Pro, with about 1/12 of the thinking tokens; 1M context works. When migrating, note that Argon does not support `thinkingBudget` and it may return a 400; use `thinkingLevel` instead.
