# gpt-image-2.5-vip Series at Concurrency Capacity, Adding Resources

> GPT-Image reverse-channel status: the gpt-image-2.5-vip series is at concurrency capacity and we are adding resources; gpt-image-2-vip is mostly normal and gpt-image-2.5-all is stable. Reverse channels depend on provider-side supply and risk controls, so keep multi-model fallbacks; for a stability commitment use the official gpt-image-2.5-sunburst.

⚠️ **The `gpt-image-2.5-vip` series is at concurrency capacity, and we are adding resources**

Current status of the GPT-Image reverse-channel models:

* `gpt-image-2.5-sunburst-vip` / `gpt-image-2.5-flare-vip`: at concurrency capacity, some requests fail, resources being added
* `gpt-image-2-vip`: mostly normal
* `gpt-image-2.5-all`: stable
* Official `gpt-image-2.5-sunburst`: operating normally

Until the -vip series recovers, you can use the 2nd-generation `gpt-image-2-vip` for now, or go straight to the official `gpt-image-2.5-sunburst`.

On stability expectations for reverse channels: they depend on provider-side supply and unpredictable risk controls, so concurrency shortages can happen and we cannot commit to very high stability — though with heavy investment in operations and engineering, overall availability remains high. Workloads that need a stability commitment should use the official models; when using reverse channels, add client-side retries and multi-model fallbacks.

For parameters and setup, see the [GPT-Image-2-VIP overview](/en/api-capabilities/gpt-image-2-vip/overview) and the [GPT-Image 2.5 official overview](/en/api-capabilities/gpt-image-2/overview). Thanks for your understanding — we keep operating around the clock.
