# New FAQ: Hermes Shows Only Some Models in Its List

> New FAQ explaining that the Hermes model picker shows at most 50 models per provider. This is a menu limit, not a token permission limit; models outside the list can be selected by typing the full model ID.

📖 **New FAQ: why the Hermes model list shows only some models**

The model picker in Hermes Desktop and the terminal `/model` command shows at most 50 models per provider. That is a display limit of the menu; it does not mean your token can only use those 50. To use a model that is not in the list, switch to it directly with `/model <full model ID>`.
