# Veo 3.1 Preview retired, Omni still planned

> Google retired Veo 3.1 Preview on October 22, 2026, and APIYI has disabled the corresponding channels. Omni is not yet available on APIYI; integration is planned, with a possible November launch subject to a further announcement.

⏸ **Veo 3.1 Preview has been retired, and APIYI has disabled the corresponding channels.**

Google shut down `veo-3.1-generate-preview`, `veo-3.1-fast-generate-preview`, and `veo-3.1-lite-generate-preview` on October 22, 2026.

If a video task returns `fail_to_fetch_task` with an underlying 404 containing `is no longer available`, the task failure is due to model retirement.

Google lists `gemini-omni-1.1-flash` as the replacement. **Omni is not yet available on APIYI.** Integration is still planned, with a possible November launch; the actual launch date will be announced separately.
