# October 27 Endpoint 502 Incident Resolved

> An APIYI operational error left two endpoints pointing to a temporary instance when it was stopped. This notice explains the cause, recovery times, DNS cache impact, and access guidance for customers using overseas servers.

**2026/10/27 18:29 (UTC+8)** · Service Notice

✅ **502 errors on the VIP / API-CF endpoints have been resolved**

At 16:20:24 (UTC+8) on October 27, we stopped a temporary APIYI instance while two endpoint domains still pointed to it, causing some requests to return `502`. **This was an operational error on our side. We take responsibility and apologize to all affected customers.**

Recovery details for October 27:

* `vip.apiyi.com`: Pointed back to the primary origin at approximately 18:05:14 (UTC+8), after about 1 hour and 45 minutes of disruption. Some clients remained affected by local DNS caches afterward; this has now been resolved.
* `api-cf.apiyi.com`: Pointed back to the primary origin at approximately 18:08:20 (UTC+8), after about 1 hour and 48 minutes of disruption. Subsequent repeated checks from the public internet returned HTTP `200`.

**Customers using overseas servers are encouraged to standardize on `https://api.apiyi.com`, our accelerated endpoint, for faster access.**

We will strengthen checks for independent domains before migrations and shutdowns to prevent another omission. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
