gemini-3-pro-image-preview / gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview switched to Vertex high-cost channel today to secure supply · Nano Banana Pro 4K output is larger — Heads-up: today both Gemini image preview models have been switched to Google’s Vertex high-cost channel to guarantee supply, with overall availability back to stable. One side change: Nano Banana Pro (gemini-3-pro-image-preview) produces larger 4K images on Vertex — about 20MB per image, versus about 10MB on the AiStudio channel — size your download, storage and CDN bandwidth against the 20MB ceiling.
