2026/9/10 14:15 (UTC+8) · Model Status · OpenAI ⚠️ gpt-image-2.5 series status across three routes: official and -all normal, the -vip series currently degraded by 429s The -vip series (gpt-image-2.5-vip / gpt-image-2.5-flare-vip / gpt-image-2.5-sunburst-vip) runs on the Adobe Firefly reverse route, where the provider side is currently returning sustained 429s. Capacity is being replenished and we will update here once it recovers. The official route and the ChatGPT web reverse route are unaffected. Current status by route (choose as needed):
  • Official gpt-image-2.5-flare / gpt-image-2.5-sunburst: mostly normal, occasional 429s that clear on retry
  • Reverse gpt-image-2.5-all (ChatGPT web conversational image generation): normal
  • Reverse gpt-image-2.5-vip series (Adobe Firefly): returning 429s, capacity being replenished, not usable for now
