The API is a continuous service and keeps running as usual. To keep your business running smoothly over the break, we recommend two things:
  • Top up in advance: add balance based on your recent usage so calls are not interrupted by an empty balance during the holiday. The tiered top-up bonus is still available, and balance never expires
  • Monitor your balance: for production workloads, use the Balance Query API to check automatically, for example every 5 minutes, and alert or top up when it drops below your threshold; other alert options are in How to set up balance alerts
