2026/10/4 11:00 (UTC+8) · Service Notice 🔐 From now until Oct 15, 23:59 (UTC+8), 2FA and passkey enrollment is open right after you sign in The console’s account security policy normally requires password-only accounts to keep the same session and environment for 72 hours before adding their first 2FA or passkey, and the wait restarts on a new network, so many users could not enroll. During the grace period there is no wait; high-risk sign-ins are still blocked as before. Tips for enrolling:
  • We suggest adding a passkey first, then 2FA
  • If you enroll 2FA first, the system asks you to re-verify your current session, and adding a passkey will show “Failed to save verification state”. Sign out, sign in again with your password plus a 2FA code, and the passkey can then be added
  • Save your backup codes when you set up 2FA
After the grace period the original rule returns: password-only sign-ins from a new environment must stay stable for 72 hours before adding a verification method. Methods you have already enrolled are not affected. We recommend enrolling while the grace period lasts.
